REJECTION
I’m not a fan of cliches or “it-will-get-better” advertisement campaigns, but so many successful people (however you choose to define success — from being a loving father with a wonderful relationship with his daughter to a filthy rich entrepreneur to a popular adult with a wide circle of witty and diverse friends), but please take note of the many “successful” people have emerged much stronger and better equipped for reaching their goals because they went through the senseless hatred and wounds of rejection. I wish the same for your blog audience!
The Abuse Expose' with Secret Angel

This is for the many who have been rejected in their lives, whether personally or professionally. Rejection hurts. It causes wounds. It makes victims feel worthless and leads many to depression…
REJECTION…
of any kind.
Can negatively…
impact your mind.
When you’ve tried…
and given your best.
Then get rejected..
it’s like failing a test.
When you’ve loved…
and given your heart.
Then get rejected…
it’s like getting torn apart.

Discussing No Court Time with a Player
Discussing No Court Time with a Player.
There are so many excellent coaches wo willingly volunteer their time or get paid next to nothing to make not only skilled players out of our sons and daughters, but also mold them into excellent young men and young ladies. Having played, coached, been the son of a coach and have had so many excellent coaches for my daughter, I really admire the characteristics of a great coach I just listed. Unfortunately, just as someone gets to become rich by playing the lottery, there are those rare coaches (scratch that last noun and insert: “bullies who love the title of coach, but whose real love is humiliating talented players, destroying their confidence and then telling them they couldn’t “man up”–who in my daughter’s case was 11 years old when the bully who calls herself coach dug her claws into her. Thankfully, we moved schools while the U.S. Dept. Of Education and our state’s ?Commission on Human Rights investigates this “coach”, and my daughter, just finishing her 9th grade year is receiving recruiting letters from NCAA High Division I universities–but nearly gave up basketball because of the deplorable treatment of her bully who called herself a coach.
If you are a sports fan, a coach, player or concerned parent and you haven’t or don’t follow FBC (@funbasketballcoach), you are missing out on some wonderful articles from advice articles such as this one to coaching strategy and player drills. I personally have not met the man behind the twitter account, but I know I enjoy his posts!

What? A coach bully his players on a girls sports team he/she coaches for their school? Ask any school administrator responding to such an allegation, and he will repeat the same mantra those in similar settings chant: "Not at my school. Not on my watch." I have heard this mantra from coaches, athletic director employees, superintendents even after a civil rights group filed Federal Complaints with the appropriate Federal agencies! If nothing else, these administrators are consistent in chanting their mantras.

Thankfully media darlings are revealing just how pervasive bullying is now and has always been. Hopefully, their revelations will cause school administrators to (1) Admit that their schools are not made of gold, do in fact have unsightly blemishes and bullying DOES OCCUR IN THEIR SCHOOLS, and (2) Once they come around to speaking the truth, rather than denying the obvious, they will implement EFFECTIVE anti-bullying programs that comply with all Federal and state legal and regulatory requirements (including strict standards on anti-retaliation prohibitions).
